Doug Monroe

With over 20 years in healthcare security, emergency management, and law enforcement, Doug Monroe leads Strategos International’s healthcare security initiatives nationwide. He partners with hospitals and health systems to strengthen safety, compliance, and workplace violence prevention.

Previously, Doug directed security and police operations for Novant Health’s Coastal Region and served as a Lieutenant with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. A Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA), he holds an MBA in Organizational Leadership and continues to mentor future security leaders as an adjunct professor.
