Mr. Burke is the Chief Instructor for live-fire weapons training and tactical medical programs. His law enforcement career spans 21 years as a patrol officer, deputy sheriff, field-training officer, tactical team operator, tactical paramedic team leader, and certified police generalist instructor with the Missouri Department of Public Safety. He holds a wide variety of certifications in the law enforcement arena and he has been in the forefront of training police officers in the Midwest since 1985. He has competed internationally in civilian and police firearms competitions since the age of 14.

Mr. Burke is the program coordinator for the “Essentials of Tactical EMS.” This program has continued to evolve and meet the needs of tactical medical operators since 1987. The training is accredited by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and has become the training standard for several tactical teams.
