Missouri Law Enforcement Instructor of the year for 2002.

Mr. Schaeffer is a 11-year veteran of law enforcement and currently serves with the Lee's Summit, Mo. Police Department where he is assigned to the patrol division. He has also been a member of the department’s Emergency Services Squad for the past seven years, where he is assigned as the entry team point man. Mr Schaeffer is the department’s lead control tactics instructor and is also a control and patrol tactics instructor at the Western Missouri Police Academy
