Nick Kokot
Adjunct Instructor
Mr. Kokot, a police officer for the past ten years with the East Chicago (IN)
Police Department, is currently assigned to the Patrol Division. He has trained
and received instruction in various weaponry and tactical operational skills.
For the past two years, Mr. Kokot has instructed in various tactical tracking
methods for utilization between K-9 handlers (civilian and law enforcement) and
law enforcement. He has provided security evaluation and consultation and updated
operating guidelines for various educational facilities to enhance the response
to an emergency situation. Along with being a patrol officer, Mr. Kokot is also
certified as a rescue and recovery diver.
