Mike Johnson
Adjunct Instructor

Mr. Johnson has 30 years Law Enforcement experience.

He has worked at several municipal departments in Palm Beach County before joining The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office. During his career Mr. Johnson has worked as a Communication officer, Crime scene Investigator, Patrol Officer, Detective and Patrol Sergeant.

Mr. Johnson has served on many specialized units including, Dive Rescue unit, Drug enforcement unit, and Street Crime suppression unit. Served on the Department’s Special Response Team as Entry Team Member, Scout Sniper, Team Leader and Team Commander. Since joining the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office he has served in the Patrol Division as a Deputy Sheriff and Field Training Officer. He is currently assigned to the Training Bureau as Instructor and Range Manager.

Mr. Johnson holds instructor certifications in Firearms, Defensive Tactics and Vehicle operations.
