Precision Ammunition
was started in Lake County Florida in 1997, in response to the gro-wing
need for quality ammunition at reasonable prices. In 1998 we developed our
first partnership with a frangible supplier and began marketing and producing
frangible ammu-nition. Our business was greatly aided by the Y2K scare that
afforded us capital to continue to steadily grow our business and acquire
technology to increase our production. In 1999 we made our initial appearance
at SHOT Show in Las Vegas, which netted us many nationwide contacts and
future business partners. We continued to advance our products across the
US through the use of Manufacturers Reps and selling Dealer Direct. In 2002
we received extensive capital infusions from new partners Del & Brian
Groene to further expand into the burgeoning frangible and reduced hazard
markets. In 2003, Precision Ammunition has revamped several of its product
lines and greatly increased its inventory stock pilings allowing us to pursue
larger municipal and government accounts. If 2003 follows 2002’s trends;
we will again double in size and number of employees. In the future we will
continue to grow our business on the founding principles we have stood by
from the start: quality, competitively priced ammunition, consistency in
delivery & service, large inventories available for immediate deliveries,
and concentration of growth into markets of the future.
All our products are
made on automated Camdex Bullet Presses. These machines take the raw components
(i.e. primers, brass, and powder) and combine them in a 9 stage manufacturing
process. The presses check for accurate completion of each step in the
manufacturing process. If an error occurs in the process or a component
isn’t correct, the machine stops; assuring the bad round is removed
from the machine. Our Camdex Presses operate at 4,500 rounds an hour per
machine.
Precision Ammunition
is committed to providing its customers with the most attractive pro-duct
presentation available. All our ammunition is packaged in plastic trays.
In order to get the bullets from pails to trays it must be shook into
the trays by our shaker tables.
All ammunition is “case inspected” before going into its box.
Any ammunition that doesn’t fit perfectly into the case blocks is
discarded and replaced with one that does. All production runs are tested
in lots and lot numbers assigned to insure quality and accountability.
