Intruder
Response & Workplace Violence Preparation for Public Entities
Description:
This course is designed to be customizable and flexibly
integrated to be an effectively
and legally defensible training and continuing education “workplace
violence” and “intruder response” solution for businesses,
corporations, schools/school districts, colleges/
universities or churches/religious organizations.
Simply
put “Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail!”. Most schools, businesses
and public places regularly institute policies, procedures, plans and conduct
drills for natural disasters however very little pre-thought or pre-planning
has been established for response to a dangerous intruder. A dangerous intruder
can take the form of a disgruntled employee, customer, vendor, parishioner,
student, or stockholder. Training employees, management and security personnel
in recognizing the warning signs or indicators of personnel can and has
been critically important to preventing a potentially tragic incident(s)
prior to them occurring. Additionally properly training employees how to
respond effectively should a critical intruder response incident occur will
greatly enhance a safe outcome for each of them.
