This rigorous 5-Day Instructor's course is structured for Law Enforcement Professionals and designed to give you an excellent understanding of your close quarter options in a crowd-control, riot situation. Individual and introductory team practical skills will be covered. You will be more prepared for this type of encounter having attended.

• Formations
• Basic Principles for Team Work

INDIVIDUAL OFFICER SKILLS - (Practical Training)

• Riot Shield as a Defensive Tool
• Riot Shield as an Offensive Tool
• Utilizing Physical Conflict Resolution (PCR methods in a Riot Control/Suppression and Hostile Crowd Control Situations
• Evasions and Takedowns
• Striking Options
• Efficient Posture and Movement with the Shield & Baton
• Evasion-deflection Drills
• Countering Grabs / Pushes

TEAM DRILLS - (Practical Training)

• Basic 2 and 3 Man Cell Work
• 2/3 Man Close Formation Cell work: Takedowns & Pass-throughs
• 2/3 man Loose Formation Cell Work
• Introduction to Larger Team Tactics/Strategies
• Practical Force-on-Force Drilling
• Heavy Contact Daytime Full Mission Profile Training
• Heavy Contact Low Light Environment Full Mission Profile Training with Wide Spectrum of Additional Stress Factors

Equipment required:

• Protective riot gear: Helmet with Face Shield and extended Neck Protection
• Vest, Knee and Elbow pads, Protective gloves, Shin Guards optional
• Riot Shield, Riot Baton
• Hydration
• Duty belt optional
